'TIS THE SEASON - 13th December, 2011
Holiday season is well upon us and we couldn’t be more excited!! It’s the time of year when you find yourself searching for that outrageously sequined dress for your office Christmas party, buying Starbuck’s coffee just for those famous red cups and shamelessly dancing along to Madonna’s Santa Baby while swigging eggnog. But more importantly, it’s the time of year to celebrate the people in your life that make you most happy; to spend time with loved ones and make memories that will last a lifetime. Here are some of our fav Christmas images through the decades. We wish you the happiest of holidays and hope that Santa brings your everything you wished for!! Cheers to a fabulous New Year.

CLOTHES SHOW LIVE - 8th December, 2011
Founder Hazel and her intern Sydney road-tripped it to Birmingham (rocking out to Beyonce the whole time) on Tuesday to attend Clothes Show Live, the UK’s largest fashion & beauty event featuring celebs, catwalks, music acts, makeovers & 500+ fashion outlets!! We loved the Vintage section of the fair and were absolutely thrilled to stumble upon the Tatty Devine stall! Oh and seeing George Lamb really put the icing on our cupcake :) Enjoy our pictures of some sweet street style we saw and that gorgeous little surprise at the end.
We LOVE Tatty Devine!!
MARKET AND MUNCH - 7th December, 2011
We were flippin bursting at the seams to unleash our sparkles and party season collection on the discerning vintage customers of Judy’s Saturday vintage market. It proudly took over London’s historic, Old Spitalfields Market last weekend gleaming with Christmas lights.
We ‘put it down’ as Miss Rowland would say (throwing pen) and then some as people flocked to us as 'the' go-to for winter wardrobes staples. We nearly sold out of coats, this 1970s green suede and faux fur number being snapped up early by this lovely customer and her gorgeous pug! Our uber-intern, Sydney also paid us a visit, buying one of our super soft, monochrome cardigans whilst Rag & Bowette and fabulous staffer, Victoria also ‘represented’ in her R&B faux fur coat. Another happy customer was hat designer and artist Ava Sfez in one of her rather naughty designs. Check out her whimsical collection, we love the forest headpiece made from vintage antlers and pink vintage rosebuds!
We were next to the BEST neighbours in the world, the newly launched Smash Bang Dollop™, cupcake cake vendors selling the most gorgeous baked fancies. We loved their fresh branding and 100% dedication to perfecting the art of baking; with flavours such as mince pie, spiced pumpkin and green tea with raspberry! Fear not as you can order their cakes (delivery available in London) for your event or birthday. Also share the love and follow them on Twitter and Facebook www.smashbangdollop.com.
LOVE ME SOME GUCCI - 1st December, 2011
In honour of the 90th year anniversary of our most beloved brand here at Rag&Bow, GUCCI has opened its first ever Gucci Museo (that’s Italian for Gucci Museum) in Florence, Italy. Last weekend, our intern Sydney made a journey to the fashion mecca to bask in all its glory- 3 floors of sheer Gucci brilliance complete with a gift shop, library and bar (of course). Each room generated a different theme which highlighted the work and innovation of Guccio Gucci and the Gucci brand since its existence. Her favourite room was“Flora World” which is an intricate part of the Gucci history dating back to 1966 when Princess Grace of Monaco commissioned a floral scarf for herself designed by famous illustrator Vittorio Accorneror thus fashioning Gucci’s iconic Flora print. Enojy the pictures below!!

A vintage Gucci advertisement highlighing the "Flora" print
The Gucci Cadillac Seville...we would definitely drive that.

Gucci truly exemplifies chic femininity and sexiness...WE LOVE GUCCI!!!
